The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 - Approved Code of Practice and guidance available here.

 

What on-going training is required to meet HSE recommendations?

The HSE requires that the correct training is given to the appropriate number of employees based on the outcome of a requirement assessment, and that requalification is carried out every three years. They also recommend interim annual refresher courses.  Details are here.
